During the last 24 hours, Sewell Mining troops have traded soil with the valiant fighters of the Polaris battalion but have been largely unsuccessful in their efforts to move the battle front. With military operations in the area drawing down after the significant battles of yesterday, a small patrol of withdrawing Sewell troops enacted their revenge against the civilian population in the area.
The Polaris battalion commander, callsign “Svir”, made a statement in the TOC shortly after news of the massacre had broken: “The laws of war forbid targeted violence at civilian populations, and the perpetrators will be brought to justice in one way or another.”
