The Hedge Village Sheriff’s Office announces that, effective immediately, all Sheriff’s Office personnel are withdrawing from the Hedge Village area due to the rapidly deteriorating security situation.
Recent developments have made it clear that the escalating conflict between the Coalition of Nordberg (CN) and the Northern Royal Guard (NRG) has reached a point where the Sheriff’s Office can no longer guarantee the safety of civilians or its deputies with the limited resources available. Despite every effort to maintain order, our small department is no longer capable of effectively policing an active conflict zone.
All civilians have been instructed to evacuate Hedge Village and the surrounding area immediately and seek safety until further notice. Residents are urged not to interfere with military operations and to follow any evacuation guidance provided by local authorities.
The Sheriff’s Office will conduct its withdrawal using its sole transport helicopter, ensuring the safe evacuation of remaining deputies and essential personnel.
This decision has not been made lightly. For as long as conditions allowed, the Sheriff’s Office stood between the people of Hedge Village and the growing unrest. Unfortunately, the situation has now exceeded the capabilities of a department of our size.
