Hedge Village, Nordberg – Coalition of Nordberg (CN) authorities have arrested local banker Olli Gark as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged tax evasion. During the operation, all assets belonging to the Hedge Village Bank were seized to facilitate the preliminary investigation.
According to CN officials, investigators have recovered significant amounts of cash, securities, and other valuable assets from the bank’s premises. Authorities have not yet disclosed the total value of the seized property or whether additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
The Coalition stated that the seizure of the bank’s assets is not a robbery and is merely intended to preserve potential evidence while financial records are examined by investigators.
Olli Gark’s attorney has strongly criticized the arrest, claiming that his client was detained without sufficient legal grounds. The defense maintains that Mr. Gark has fully cooperated with authorities and argues that the detention is unjustified.
Coalition officials have declined to comment further, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation. No formal indictment has been announced at this time.
