A miscommunication in the civilian village this evening led to Northern Guard forces mistakenly engaging each other, resulting in multiple injuries.
The Sheriff reportedly informed NRG that Northern Iron Rule units were nearby and actively fighting. Acting on this information, reinforcements were called in, leading to a friendly-fire incident between NRG units.
However, it was later confirmed that no NIR troops were present in the area at the time of the incident.
Several individuals were wounded and are currently being treated by White Cross medical teams.
The Sheriff has been detained for questioning in connection to the false information that triggered the clash.
