Battlefield Bulletin returns yet again

Your Trusted Source for News in Conflict Zones

BACK ONCE AGAIN

Following last year’s early withdrawal from the Nordberg reporting zone due to elevated security concerns, Battlefield Bulletin has returned to the field for Battlegroup 2025.

The decision to temporarily suspend operations in 2024 was made to ensure the safety of our reporting personnel amid increasing tensions in the area. Since then, BBNC has reviewed and strengthened its operating procedures, with a renewed focus on maintaining both journalistic integrity and operational safety in dynamic environments.

Our return this year reflects our continued commitment to neutral, fact-based reporting. We remain unaffiliated with any faction, and all coverage is carried out in accordance with the non-combatant status granted to accredited press.

BBNC is once again positioned to document events from across the area of operations, and to provide players with verified information, context, and coverage—regardless of rank or role.
We’re back on the ground and ready to report. Work continues.

Our goals are the same as last time, strive only for the truth:

  1. Witness the event. Report the truth. Tell the story. Enlighten the people.
  2. Maintain neutral or friendly status to all involved parties. Whether civilian or soldier, we do not wish to be part of any conflict or drama. We keep clear communication channels for all parties involved.
  3. Do not endanger operational security of any fighting factions or ours. Our mission is to observe and report, not to take part in the conflict. We make our best effort to tell the story and the truth.
  4. We take our staff wellbeing seriously, especially in combat situations. Any personnel who don’t report their status periodically will be reported as missing. An immediate safety hazard report will be filed, and an immediate rescue effort will be made. The reason for the missing BBNC personnel will be thoroughly investigated and reported.
  5. Build a footing where media operations can expand. Become a liked mainstream news network amongst the people of Nordberg. Nordberg is a unique and new environment for BBNC and for the Global Insights Group alike. With a hostile environment, yet devoid of real news organisations, we see it as our duty to allow free press to exist anywhere.

You may encounter us on the field. Please tell BBNC your story! Nordberg continues to be a mysterious place from which millions of people want to hear the truth. You can recognise Battlefield Bulletin staff from the following press cards:

Serving as the lead coordinator of the Battlefield Bulletin News, Max Scoop is responsible for overseeing press operations across the AO. With a focus on neutrality, accuracy, and timely field reporting, Max ensures that BBNC remains a trusted, independent source of information throughout the conflict.
