Residents report heavy gunfire and explosions throughout the day, with significant damage to several buildings. “The sound of fighting was relentless,” said a local resident. “It’s terrifying to see our village turned into a war zone again.”
Hostage Situation and Reinforcement Arrival
The situation escalated into a hostage crisis when CN reinforcements arrived in Jayville and launched an assault on NRG positions. The NRG, having taken the captured CN soldiers as hostages, faced an intense storming of their defenses by the CN forces. The fierce battle resulted in the NRG being overrun and the hostages being released.
